Le Grand Tarot Universel

grandtarotuniversel.jpg During my last trip to Paris, I picked up Le Grand Tarot Universel (from Editions Bruno de Nys). Its rainbow-hued, TdM-inspired images range from cotton-candy happy to mildly hallucinatory. It's almost as though the deck's cast members have all taken hits of ecstasy before showing up for work.

Comments

The deck does look like TdM on an acid trip with a bit of a Sixties undertone. It's so happy and colorful that it's kind of funny.

I think these are awesome. Acid trip, yes, but obviously very well thought out and beautifully drawn. It's already on my wishlist.

Chris.
